Distribution

The distribution sector is attempting to come out of its worst slump since the depression. Housing and automotive, two hugely important sectors to trucking, distribution, and logistics, both cratered simultaneously starting in early 2007 and have not fully recovered yet. Market dynamics with respect to continuing overcapacity in the industry plague growth opportunities.

Major issues continue to plague the industry. Overcapacity, pricing, diversification of services, and recapitalization of the equipment base are still go forward issues. These macro matters have culminated with margin deterioration and working capital management issues.
